FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell your custom designs separately?

No.

I do not sell my custom designs individually.

Each piece is created specifically for the person who will wear it and is part of a process that goes far beyond printing and placing a design.

I work from the anatomy, shape, and energy of each body, adapting the design so it flows naturally. That is why I design and tattoo each piece personally. Giving my design to another tattooer would not create the same result.

Do you only work with custom designs?

Yes, they are always original designs created by me and adapted to each person's body. We can refer to another idea, but every process is unique and individual.

What is your design process like?

The design is developed from the general idea, shared references, and the body of the person being tattooed.

I consider anatomy, proportions, movement, and the energy of the body so the tattoo feels integrated rather than simply placed on the skin.

Can I see the design before the appointment?

I do not send or show designs in advance.

The design is presented on the day of the first appointment and worked through together.

If adjustments or modifications are needed, we make them in person that same day until the design feels aligned and right.

For that reason, it is very important to send clear and detailed information during the inquiry.

If you have specific tastes, ideas, or references, the clearer you are when explaining them, the better I can work from that information.

Do you tattoo only in Tulum?

My private studio is located in Tulum, Mexico, and that is my main place of work.

However, I travel frequently to different parts of the world, so I may be tattooing in other cities at certain times.

Can I get tattooed by you if I live in another country?

Yes.

You can travel to Tulum to get tattooed by me, or if it matches one of my upcoming cities, book during one of my trips.

You can always write to ask where I will be tattooing next.

Do you do cover ups or blast overs?

Yes, I do both cover ups and blast overs.

These projects are evaluated case by case because they depend on the existing tattoo, the body area, and the new design idea.

How does pricing work?

Every project is unique and pricing depends on several factors, including tattoo size, design complexity, number of sessions required, and whether it is a new project, cover up, or blast over.

The minimum for very small tattoos starts at 1500.

From there, projects may be quoted by session, half session, full day, or hour, depending on the case.

Can I receive an approximate quote before reserving?

Yes.

If you share all the information requested in the reservation section, I can give you an approximate quote so you can evaluate whether the project fits your budget.

Please keep in mind that it is an estimate and may be adjusted once the project is defined in more detail.

Do you accept every project?

Not every project is accepted.

Each proposal is evaluated to make sure it is right both for the person being tattooed and for my way of working and artistic focus.

How many sessions does a project usually take?

It depends on the size and complexity of the design.

Some projects are completed in one session, while large-scale pieces may require several sessions.

Do you use numbing creams?

Yes, I have no issue using numbing creams.

This can be discussed in more detail once the appointment is confirmed, so we can evaluate what is best for each case.

What happens if I need to modify something in the design?

Necessary modifications are made in person on the day of the appointment, working together until the design feels right and aligned.

Do you only do large-scale pieces, or do you also accept small tattoos?

My main focus is large-scale projects.

However, I also accept smaller tattoos as long as they are aligned with my style and way of working.
